The splendid Brahmaputra and the city can be checked out from a bird's view by taking a walk slightly further up the hill.

Assam State Zoo: This zoo is situated at a distance of 5 kms from railway station and houses numerous species of tigers, swamp tapirs, horned rhinos, leopards and different species of exotic birds. Since, it is open daily; the couples can feast their eyes with some of the striking wildlife.

Navagraha Temple: It is the most popular cluster of temples in Guwahati that has a temple dedicated to each astrological planet. In every temple, the couple can take blessings of Lord Shiva as they have shivlings with different colored garments representing nine planets. Its construction dates back to 1751, which stands proudly on the top of Chitrasal hill.

Guwahati Planetarium: The Guwahati Planetarium, situated on MG Road is a genuine attempt to uplift the scientifically inclined minds and offer them a glance of the treasure trove gathered over centuries by the individual explorers. Assam State Museum: It is located near Dighalipukhuri tank and is extremely popular for the anthology of antiques dating back to prehistoric times.
