Balsamand Lake: This is an artificial lake that was built in 1159 AD by Balak Rao Parihar. It is located at a distance of 5km from Jodhpur on Jodhpur-Mandore road and also has a palace on its banks having an unparalleled architectural design.

Mandore: It lies at a distance of 9km from Jodhpur and was the capital of Marwar before Jodhpur was founded. Here, the honeymoon couples can check out Mandore Gardens with high rock terraces, excellently carved cenotaphs, brilliant edifice of carved elephants and finely sculptured pillars.
