Bangalore-Mysore-Ooty-Coimbatore-Kochi-Alleppey Backwater-Kochi


Day 01: Bangalore

On arrival at Bangalore Airport meet and transfer to hotel for 01 night. Bangalore often referred, as the 'Garden City' is known for its numerous parks and avenues. After breakfast, proceed for full day sight-seeing tour of Bangalore visiting Tipu Sultan's Palace, Bull Temple, Lalbagh gardens, Cubbon Park & Museum and Vidhana Soudha building - which houses both the State Legislature and Secretariat. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02: Bangalore-Mysore

After breakfast, drive to Mysore. On the way from Bangalore to Mysore you can visit Sreerangapatnam, visit Summer Palace of Tippu Sultan and Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary. Continue to Mysore and on arrival check-in at hotel for 02 nights. Mysore, capital of a former princely state, is a city of palaces, gardens, shady avenues and sacred temples and retains some of the charm of the old world with its many institutions that propagate Carnatic Classical music and dance. The city of famous for its silk, sandalwood and jasmine. Evening to visit Devaraja Market, the biggest local market of Mysore and is very interesting to watch it. Overnight at hotel

Day 03: Mysore

After breakfast, proceed for sight-seeing of Mysore, including Chamundi Hill, Mysore Palace and Railway Museum. At leisure for the rest of the day. Overnight at hotel.

Day 04:Mysore-Mudmalai Wildlife Sanctuary

After breakfast, check out and drive to Mudumalai where you will check-in at hotel for 01 night stay. Morning to visit Mudumalai National Park. In the foothills of the Nilgiris, this 321 sq km park is part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve that includes Bandipur and Wayanad in neighboring Karnataka and Kerala. Afternoon visit to elephant training camp and Elephant Pooja. Overnight at hotel.

Day 05: Mudmalai Wildlife Sanctuary-Ooty Hill Station

After breakfast, drive to Ooty where you will check-in at hotel for 01 night stay. Ooty popularly referred to as 'Queen of Blue Mountains' is located at height of 2,286m and was the first established hill station in India. Afternoon go for sight-seeing. Popular tourist attractions include the Botanical gardens, Lake, Doddabetta, Mukurti peak, the Pykara Dam and sprawling tea plantations. Overnight at hotel.

Day 06: Ooty Hill Station-Coimbatore

Morning check out and drive to Mettupalayam to board the toy train to Coimbatore. Coimbatore popularly referred to as the Manchester or Detroit of the South for its textile manufacturing and engineering goods. Although not a touristy city, it is indeed a good place to halt en-route from Nilgiri hill stations.

On arrival check-in at hotel for 1 night. Rest of the day free to relax or for a short walk around the place. Overnight at hotel.

Day 07: Coimbatore-Kochi Port City

After breakfast, check out from hotel and drive to Kochi. On arrival check-in at hotel for 02 nights. Kochi - Queen of Arabian Seas, is one of the most interesting cities of India and has one of the finest natural harbors in the world. The ancient Temples, Churches and Synagogues in this district are of special interest to archeologists and historians. The Chinese fishing nets, the Jewish Synagogue, the Dutch palace and the Bolgatty palace in Kochi enrich the heritage of Kerala.

Day free to relax by the pool. Evening go for Kathakali dance performance, the dance drama of Kerala. Overnight at hotel.

Day 08: Kochi Port City

After breakfast, proceed for Kochi sight-seeing includes, St. Francis church, Mattancherry palace, Jewish synagogue and Chinese fishing nets. Rest of the day free for own activities. Overnight at hotel.

Day 09: Kochi Port City-Alleppey Backwater Houseboat

Eat a fitting breakfast, take a drive to Alleppey and check-in at the Deluxe Holiday Houseboat. Prepare yourself for an enchanting 22 hour houseboat cruise, through the World-famous backwaters of Alleppey, Kerala. The city of Alleppey has a large network of canals and hence, is a major center for backwater cruises in the state of Kerala, God's Own Country!

The famous Nehru Trophy Boat Race-the most colorful of boat races is held here, in Alleppey each year, on the second Saturday of August. Light-up the romance, on your backwater honeymoon cruise, with short strolls through the local villages and admire the lush flora. The villagers are normally pleasant and generous to the tourists! Romance your night out, in the holiday houseboat, en route to Kumarakom Islands in Kottayam district of Kerala, God's Own Country.

Day 10: Alleppey Backwater Houseboat-Kochi City

Morning have a relaxing breakfast on board. After breakfast, disembark from the house boat at Alleppey. Later according to the flight timings, transfer to airport to catch the onward flight. Remember good times.
